Destination 10 Meal Service
The JCMH Food and Nutrition Services department works with the Destination 10 program whose philosophy is to achieve a food quality level of 10, based on a scale of 1 to 10, in the food served to patients, employees, and visitors.
Ten department employees have completed a certification in the Healthcare Culinary Academy. They received training in cooking sauces, meats, vegetables and other foods.

- Inpatient and Outpatient Nutritional Counseling
- Inpatient Nutritional Assessments
- Clinical Dietitians and a Certified Dietary Manager make assessments on inpatients and make recommendations to physicians about nutritional needs

Guest Meal Trays
The JCMH Food & Nutrition Department offers a Room Service Menu with comfort foods like homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, Chicken Fried Steak, and Roast Beef.
Any guest can order a meal tray from a nurse or other staff member for $6.00 to be delivered at meal times. One parent meal tray per mealtime is offered free of charge to one parent of a patient 12 years old and younger.
