Child Advocacy Center

The Stephen E. Booker Foundation was created by Robin Booker to honor her late husband, Stephen E. Booker, former Jackson County Assistant District Attorney and child advocate, who passed away in March 2015. The foundation, along with the Stephen E. Booker Child Abuse Response Team and Jackson County Memorial Hospital have joined together to continue Stephen’s fight to protect the rights of abused and neglected children.

For several years, the foundation’s main objective has been to raise money to create an accredited Child Advocacy Center in District 3, which would service Jackson, Greer, Harmon, Tillman and Kiowa Counties. Jackson County Memorial Hospital has made that goal possible by providing the Child Advocacy Center a home in a building near the hospital.

This building is currently undergoing renovations and the foundation continues fundraising efforts to fund the center.
This will be a safe place for abused children to receive their forensic interviews and medical examinations. Dr. Lindsey King, JCMH Pediatrician, is the medical component of this team.

The Stephen E Booker Foundation is selling engraved bricks to go on the wall of honor for donors. Each brick cost $150 and will go directly to the Child Advocacy Center building.
If you would like to donate toward this cause without purchasing a brick, you can mail a check to the JCMH Foundation (notate Child Advocacy Center in the Memo) to PO Box 8190 Altus, OK 73522.

For questions or more information about the bricks, contact Dr. Lindsey King at the JCMH Pediatric Clinic 379-6100 or message her on Facebook.
Thank you for your support of this cause for the children of Southwest Oklahoma.
