Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director, the Assistant Director functions as the operating officer of the company in the absence of the Director. As Director of Patient Services, coordinates care planning activities and ensures that all patient cases are conducted in a manner consistent with accreditation standards. Prepares monthly accounts receivable reports on a monthly basis and as needed from the company software system. Supervises and trains employees as assigned. Position is full time, 40 hours per week, 8:30-5:30 M-F salaried position. Requirements: · Associates Degree in business or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in business preferred. · Typing speed of 35 wpm required. Must pass the "Office Ability" test as administered by the Human Resources Department with a score of 80% or better. · Ability to organize work, set priorities and effectively accomplish required duties with minimal or no supervision. · Two to five years' previous experience in any of the following: medical environment, purchasing, or accounting. · Previous experience with managing employees required. · Experience in a retail setting preferred. · Previous work experience that demonstrates steady attendance and punctuality is required. · Ability to deal with the public in a courteous manner. Must meet public and work well with elderly. · Qualified individual will be given on-the-job training. Language Skills: · Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. · Must be able to communicate (orally and in writing) effectively with patients, doctors, and other departments. · Public speaking in a group setting will be required. Skills: · Must be able to make decisions. · Must display leadership skills and have the ability to train and educate staff. · Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word.
