Employee Health Clinic

Employees and their dependents are eligible to utilize the JCMH Employee Health Clinic.

The Employee Clinic staff members are committed to provide high-quality health care to all employees and their dependants, regardless of insurance.

SERVICES OFFERED

Our Nurse Practitioner provides many services which include ordering and interpreting diagnostic lab tests; diagnosing and treating acute illnesses such as, infections, sprains, skin rashes, vomiting, diarrhea and minor injuries; medication maintenance of chronic stable conditions such as, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and hypothyroidism.  Referrals to specialist physicians can be made on an as needed basis.

Cryosurgery
Breathing Treatments
Urinalysis
Strep Testing

Please note that our Nurse Practitioner does not do well-baby check ups, immunizations, or specialized women’s health care such as pap smears, birth control or hormone replacement therapy.

CLINIC FEES
A charge of $10 for each visit is payroll deducted by using the employee’s hospital ID badge which needs to be presented at the time of service.  Additional fees may be incurred for procedures such as incision and drainage of abscesses, wart or other minor skin lesion removal, shots, breathing treatments, urinalysis, strep tests, etc.

Additional fees for those employees and their dependants, who do not have the hospital’s insurance, Waterstone, will be billed separately.  Additional fees will be submitted to your insurance for those who are covered under Waterstone.

PRESCRIPTIONS
Employees and dependents covered under Waterstone insurance can have their prescriptions filled at the JCMH pharmacy provided the medication is listed in their formulary.

The JCMH pharmacy will be happy to fill all prescriptions for those with Waterstone insurance only.  These prescriptions will be charged at the pharmacy’s cost (this makes the cost less than retail pharmacies) and again these charges are payroll deducted using your hospital ID badge at the time of pick-up.

If you do not have Waterstone insurance, your prescription requests will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice.

MAKING AN APPOINTMENT
To make an appointment, please call the Employee Clinic at 580-379-5690.  Same day appointments are available; please call early.

REQUESTING PRESCRIPTION REFILLS 
If you need to refill your prescriptions, contact your pharmacy.  The pharmacy will submit a refill request to the Nurse Practitioner.  Please allow 24 hours for refills.
