Visitors
We understand the importance of having support persons with
you during the birthing experience. In order to better serve
you, we ask that you choose support persons ahead of time to
accompany you during labor. We ask that any other friends
and family members wait in the Women’s Center waiting room.
This will allow us to focus on you and your baby, giving you
the personal and skilled care that you deserve. Hospital
visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Meals
The Women’s Center has teamed up with the JCMH Food Services
Department to provide an exclusive service to inpatients
staying on the Women’s Center. The Five Star Meal Service
allows patients to order from a menu with a variety of foods
and beverages. One free guest tray per meal is also provided for
your convenience. Meals are served from 6:30 a.m. to
6:30 p.m.
Rooming In
We know that the first few days you will spend with your
newborn are extremely important. Once the baby is delivered,
self care is promoted. Rooming in is also promoted because
it allows you to get to know your newborn.

Web
Nursery
JCMH offers the opportunity to new parents to view their
baby’s picture on the internet utilizing the JCMH Website.
With parental consent, the pictures are placed within 7 to
10 days following the birth on www.jcmh.com.
This is a free
service to anyone delivering at JCMH.
Babygram
Videos from Radiology
A Babygram is an ultrasound of your unborn baby done between
20 and 30 weeks of gestation. This can let you know the sex
of the baby as well as give you images to take home and a
video of the new addition to your family.
Schedule your own babygram appointment at (580) 481-2351.
The charge is $100 due at the time of the exam.
This will include the exam, images, and a keepsake
videotape.

We want to answer any questions you might have about your
upcoming birthing experience and stay at JCMH. JCMH endorses
the Speak Up initiative, meaning that if something isn’t
working right in your room, please notify any staff member.
We want the opportunity to remedy whatever problem you may
be having as soon as possible. Please feel free to call the
Nurse Manager of Women’s Center at (580) 481-2381; or the

When You Go Home
At JCMH, we understand the importance of customer service.
One way that we measure our patient satisfaction is by
sending each inpatient a survey asking about their recent
stay. Each returned survey is carefully reviewed. When you
leave our facility, we want you to be more than pleased with
your stay at JCMH. Our goal is to exceed your expectations
by providing you with very good care.
Parenting Classes
JCMH offers parenting classes free to all parents delivering
at JCMH. Both "new parents to be" and "already
parents" are invited to attend. Classes are held on
the first four Tuesday evenings of every month from 6 p.m.
to 9 p.m. in the ground floor conference room. Classes
include various topics including the labor process,
breathing techniques, pain management options, newborn care,
infant CPR and post-partum care. A tour of the Women’s
Center unit is also included. Bring your labor coach with
you to class. Comfortable clothing is recommended. A light snack
will be provided. To enroll, please call the JCMH Women’s
Center at (580) 481-2350. It is recommended that you sign up
