The Health & Fitness Task Force is a dedicated group from the Jackson County Community Health Action Team working to bring resources into Altus and Southwest Oklahoma that promotes healthy lifestyles such as walking to school and work, informed choices in family nutrition, a reduction in childhood obesity and city infrastructure to include sidewalks and bicycle lanes.

Meetings are the fourth Monday of each month in the JCMH Large Conference Room at noon.  A healthy lunch is served.
