Volunteers
are an essential part of the hospital, performing a variety
of services to help patients and visitors.
Being a volunteer
is an experience full of personal rewards, good friends, and
positive interaction.
In 2007, the volunteers gave over 13,800
hours of their time.
Both men and women are encouraged to apply. Auxiliary
volunteers serve the hospital in the JCMH Gift Shop, JCMH
Snack Bar,
and Operating Room Waiting area, as well as
distribute mail, gifts, and flowers to patients.
