Our Mission
JCMH's mission is to serve the residents of Southwest
Oklahoma and North Texas by providing excellent care while
focusing on
patient safety, ethical standards, and community needs in a
fiscally responsible manner.

Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus, Oklahoma is a
regional referral center committed to providing the finest
health care available to people living in an eight-county
area of Southwest Oklahoma and North Texas.
JCMH has been offering quality healthcare to this area for
over 50 years.
JCMH is a general hospital licensed for 131 acute care
beds and a 25-bed Skilled Nursing Facility.
JCMH offers a 24-hour Emergency Department
staffed with a physician at all times. An innovative women's
center with family centered maternity care, an intensive
care/cardiac care center, an outpatient Same Day Surgery
Unit, and a full range of support and ancillary services are
all provided. |

In the last fiscal year, JCMH was responsible for
giving over 3 million dollars back to the community. Broken
down, the community benefited from this partnership in these ways:

JCMH is a not-for-profit community hospital dedicated to
total health care and to providing the finest health care
available. Financial resources are used to expand the
facilities and services and to purchase new diagnostic
equipment.
JCMH offers many services to the city of Altus and the
surrounding communities. JCMH provides a free
cholesterol/blood sugar/blood pressure screening once a year
in Altus and surrounding areas such as Mangum, Eldorado,
Frederick and Hollis.
JCMH maintains a family medical clinic in Mangum.
JCMH is accredited by the Joint Commission for Accreditation
of Health Care Organizations.
